CALL FOR VIDEOS. Tate Liverpool Exchange Programme

CALL FOR VIDEOS. Tate Liverpool Exchange Programme

Open Studio is involved in the Tate Liverpool Exchange Programme that will take place on April 20-26, 2020. The project, under the title The Power of the RAilway Journey, explores the differences in the train travel experiences between East and West. The proposal is hosted by Tate Liverpool and supported by the Railway Museum, the University of Liverpool and Open Studio.

We plan to have a few events including photographs and video displays, workshops and seminars putting together reflections and experiences about train travel all over the world:

We are making a call for videos asking professional or amateur artists and filmmakers to share their experience with the train travels. It can be related to a particular narrative or just an expression of the aesthetic emotion of contemporary train journeys.

We are expecting a piece of no more than 5 minutes by 31st March at noon. Email your link before that date to junjie.xi@liverpool.ac.uk

We would appreciate also a short text explaining the data of the journey (from where to where, when and purpose)
